If your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, friendships, or school-related stress, you’re not alone.
Many children experience these challenges at different stages of development. Therapy can help children better understand their feelings, develop coping strategies, and build confidence in themselves.

Many children experience persistent worry about school, friendships, family changes, or everyday situations. We help children develop tools to calm their minds, manage anxious thoughts, and build confidence in situations that may feel overwhelming.

Some children struggle with big feelings like frustration, anger, or sadness and may have difficulty calming down once they are upset. We help children learn practical strategies to understand their emotions, express them appropriately, and regain control when emotions feel too big.

Academic pressure, testing anxiety, and classroom expectations can sometimes create stress for children. Therapy helps children build coping strategies, improve focus, and develop a healthier relationship with school and learning.

Friendships and peer interactions can be challenging for many children. We help children build communication skills, improve confidence in social settings, and learn how to navigate friendships in positive and healthy ways.

Children who doubt themselves or feel unsure of their abilities may avoid challenges or become discouraged easily. Therapy helps children recognize their strengths, develop resilience, and build a stronger sense of self-confidence.

Children with attention and focus difficulties may struggle with organization, impulsivity, or staying on task. We work with children and families to develop practical strategies that support attention, structure, and success at home and in school.

For over two decades, I have been dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and families. My work focuses on helping young people understand their feelings, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills they can use throughout their lives.
I have had the privilege of working in schools, nonprofit organizations, and private practice settings across California, Arizona, and Florida.
Common challenges I help children and families navigate include:
• Anxiety and worry
• Emotional regulation and big feelings
• Confidence and self-esteem
• Social challenges and friendships
• School stress and transitions
• Family communication
• ADHD-related challenges
My approach blends cognitive behavioral therapy, emotional skill-building, and practical tools that children can use at home and school. Sessions often include interactive activities, games, and guided conversations that help children feel comfortable while learning important life skills.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where children and families feel understood, empowered, and hopeful.
